Division of Climate-Resilient Development Research

We aim to achieve climate-resilient development on a global and regional level by comprehensively understanding adaptation and mitigation measures in response to increasingly severe climate change. We promote interdisciplinary and transdisciplinary research, including elucidating the Earth system, assessing the impact of climate change on disasters and agriculture, evaluating the effectiveness of adaptation and mitigation measures, and making policy recommendations.
